To celebrate singer Example’s latest single (where he mentions Elastoplast in the lyrics) we’ve been working with Elastoplast to promote limited edition packs featuring the artist. Nzime have produced an ‘example’ page on the Elastoplast website and set up a competition to win one of the very limited edition packs.

Recent social activity on Twitter has seen the hash tag ‘examplaplast’ trending worldwide and ultimately driving traffic to the competition pages. So any fans of Example should take a peek at the Elastoplast site and enter the comp now to be in with a chance to grab one of the cool new packs!

I’d like to introduce you to to the Official Kinect Sports Facebook Application.

Whether your specialty is Bowling, Table Tennis or a spot of Beach Volleyball (bikini not required) you can put your skills up against anyone and everyone with international leagues. You have the option to simply join the current weeks league or subscribe, which will automatically enter you into your selected leagues every week.

If you prefer competition on a more personal level, invite your Facebook friends to your own personal weekly league. You choose the Sport, Number of Games, League name and Start Date.

So you’ve joined a few international leagues and invited your friends to the bowling league to end all leagues you can then keep track of everyones progress in My Leagues. After joining a league you have been invited to you can also keep a track on the progress and how long you have to get your games in. Once leagues are finished they are fully archived for you to reminisce on your achievements.

If you have played Kinect Sports you will be fully aware of the hysteria generated by seeing your game highlights. If you were daring enough to upload your videos to Kinect Share you can view them all in My(your) Videos.

My Records: See how you compare against your friends, find out who’s been practicing a little too much and if it’s your thing brag to your Facebook friends about how great you are.

It was simple to setup with bit.ly providing a pro service that lets you link your own short domain. Now we can track the response to any url’s we post with the added bonus of the nzi.me brand.

As a little experiment in awareness of QR barcodes we decided to erect our own, we then track the number of links generated by the passing traffic outside the office. However, if you’ve been intrigued enough to follow the link and you just so happen to require creative marketing talent then while you’re here have a snoop around our web site.

The secret’s finally out! Over the past year we have been working with Rare and Microsoft Games Studios (MSG) on building  Rare.co.uk and now the official Facebook application to support the Xbox Kinect launch title Kinect Sports.

The press release went out just moments ago and we couldn’t be happier with what we have all achieved working alongside everyone at Rare and MSG. Rare have done an amazing job building a fantastically enjoyable game, leaving some of us in the studio resorting to deep heat after getting a little too competitive playing Kinect Sports yesterday (UK launch day).

The Facebook application allows anyone with Kinect Sports to join international leagues to put their skills up against the rest of the world,  create and join custom leagues with friends and view their Kinect Sports videos which can be uploaded via Kinect Share.

I am under strict instructions not to reveal too much as this project is currently secret…  but there is certainly a buzz in the Nzime office. We have been asked to develop a Facebook application. We’re absolutely thrilled to be asked and we’re already beavering away to make this app as great as it deserves to be.

Brands are always trying to find new ways to interact with their customers and enhancing user experience by incorporating tools into social media platforms is a way for brands to make their products far more accessible and exciting.

Well, at least now we’ll have an excuse to be on Facebook all day now. No, I really am doing research…
