Yesterday we brought out the tech and set up a shoot for Mark Thomas for his new website we are currently building. It went smoothly and the results were fantastic. Watch this space for the final cut.

The Knox images are looking sweet! We art directed and shot all the new 09 gear and are in the midst of building their “brand” spanking new webby with a catalogue to follow shortly. Watch this space for Knox related updates!

Happy 30th Morph!

11

The late great Tony Hart’s sidekick Morph celebrates his 30th birthday. He was even all dressed up for a photoshoot which will appear in Esquire magazine. His mate Chas was there to art direct.

Snowy adventure

Back in the Studio after a week in the snow, some awesome snowfall brought lots of off piste powder action. Also the holiday included missing flights and also being mountain rescued! Nothing like a nice relaxing break. Would recommend Val d’isere to anyone, the weather is ideal for boarding/skiing!

Brand interaction

clock-big7

Found this little project by a chap who spent his day jotting down every brand he came into contact with. He designed a cool clock aswell to show just how many identitys and at what time they crossed paths. Cool little project!

60 years of the 45 vinyl

45image

This year celebrates 60 years of the 45 [7 inch]. The first 45 rpm disc, Texarkana Baby by country-and-western singer Eddy Arnold, was issued by RCA in the US on 31 March 1949. 45′s are still selling which is awesome! They actually seem to be selling more and more each year. I personally think that you can’t get a better sound than vinyl.

Happy 40th birthday mouse!

December 9th was when the first mouse was demonstrated, and it was made of wood…things have changed over time, but imagine if the mouse was never invented, I wonder how we would navigate if someone else had designed a product completly different to the mouse concept.

Mr frosty!

Super icey this morning, I watched the postman fall on his ass along with the locals walking dogs. Does make the whole place kinda Christmas themed but with added danger. Took this piccy of my car window…another factor when dealing with cold weather, I had to crack out the kettle! [Not advised to use boiling water just slightly warm water to disperse ice from windows, I will not be responsible for windows cracking!]

I am famous [also]

Once again, an Nzime peep has been made famous worldwide via the power of video/internet/right place right time. 37 seconds into this video you will see me! I remember the camera being pointed at me and i pulled the required gaming pose and as you can see they have used me in the intro to the video as I am obviously the professional model they were looking for…

Five a day

This week has been very healthy in the Studio.
Efforts have been made to have 5 portions of fruit/veg a day.

But then, as you can see from the previous post, Friday turns up and cakes/biscuits are introduced. I am gunning for a studio smoothie maker!
