Some new and not so new faces.

Alessandro.
We think he’s from Sheffield but have yet to understand a word he says. A very talented designer with a proven track record he joins Nzime to head up the creative team. As well as holding down a job as senior designer at Nzime he manages his penchant for all graphical things to do with the Munich Olympics at his web site… www.1972municholympics.co.uk.

Laura.
She bakes cakes, she’s creative and has Pantone 222 coloured hair. Very talented and has an unnatural ability for Foosball. Laura joins us as a designer.

Taryn.
Scarily organised but with a smile, everything you need from an account manager. Taryn has already shown her weakness by admitting she’s a little gullible, oh dear, April 1st is approaching quickly…..

Glen.
As our account exec Glen handles our reporting and day to day support of several accounts with clinical efficiency. He’s also an exceptional copywriter and has an eagle eye as well as a quiff to match.

There’s no ‘i’ in team….

Just a D, S, E, G, R, J, M, A, J, A, D, B, L, T, S, T & C.

Instore point of purchase designers.

Need simply stunning point of sale and in-store display? The Design Workshop are the boys (and girl).

Taking Heliskiing to a new level.

Coming out later this year, just makes you want to get out there…

Blue planet

No reason for this post other than it’s a nice picture of a phylum Cnidaria from my weekend trip to the Blue Planet Aquarium in Chester at the weekend.

Not so sticky start to the year.

Some very interesting and exciting things on the horizon for Elastoplast this year. Nzime will again be working alongside the lovely team over in Birmingham to create something a little bit special…. watch this blog…

Nigel Griffiths Furniture.

Beautifully hand crafted oak furniture by Nigel Griffiths, who as well as being a very gifted carpenter is also a lovely chap. Suppliers to Harrods and fine furniture aficionados across the country, the new branding and web site we’ve created will open up his talents to a new broader market.

Recruiting from a different angle.

After several months of ideas, photography, design, copywriting and printing the first of the Macildowie print hits the doorstep. The print is the first time the ‘Recruiting from a different angle’ has been used in it’s entirety and is now set to roll out across all activities.

After spending a day running around Nottingham, Leicester and Derby deciding on the best locations for our shots we narrowed it down to a couple in each location.

We then had a long day in the studio setting up the lighting to match each location shot and shooting the models whilst attempting to hold them at a 45° angle.

Well, it worked…

After our impromptu guerrilla activities last Friday we can safely say that Qr Barcodes work. In this instance it was more out of intrigue that people clicked through but it does go to show that if the brand and the positioning is right then it’s a powerful tool to take people directly to your doorstep.

Hello! you’ve seen our QR Barcode then….

As a little experiment in awareness of QR barcodes we decided to erect our own, we then track the number of links generated by the passing traffic outside the office. However, if you’ve been intrigued enough to follow the link and you just so happen to require creative marketing talent then while you’re here have a snoop around our web site.

Thanks for your contribution to our little experiment.
